IsoAcoustics GAIA Titan Neo – Isolation feet for heavy speakers

GAIA-TITAN Neo introduces IsoAcoustics’ next-generation Neo isolation technology for heavy floorstanding speakers and subwoofers. As the direct successor to the original GAIA-TITAN series, this model offers the same proven load-bearing capacities and also features a redesigned isolation system, simplified installation and integrated height adjustment.

GAIA-TITAN Neo is designed so that the speaker’s energy is dissipated via the internal isolators rather than through the metal cabinet. Only the lower isolator is in contact with the support surface, thereby reducing rigid vibration pathways into the floor and limiting reflections back into the speaker cabinet.

Designed for large-scale applications
Large loudspeakers generate significant mechanical energy. Without adequate decoupling, this energy can be transferred to the support surface and reflected back into the loudspeaker cabinet, compromising overall performance.

GAIA-TITAN Neo has been developed to control this energy directly at the source. Its patented IsoAcoustics design reduces vibration transmission to the floor whilst simultaneously dampening internal reflections that feed back into the loudspeaker.

The result is a stable, controlled foundation that enables the loudspeaker to deliver greater clarity, tighter bass, improved sound imaging and a more open soundstage.

Isolation rather than coupling
For many years, spikes were considered the standard solution for high-end floorstanding speakers. The GAIA-TITAN Neo takes a different approach.

Rather than mechanically connecting the speaker to the floor, the GAIA-TITAN Neo is designed to provide a stable foundation whilst reducing the transmission of unwanted vibrations. This controlled isolation helps to regulate the energy generated by large speakers, thereby reducing the transfer of resonance energy to the contact surface and dampening energy that might otherwise be reflected back into the speaker cabinet.

The aim is not to isolate the loudspeaker from the room or to allow uncontrolled movement. Rather, it is to support the loudspeaker securely whilst reducing mechanical disturbances, enabling it to operate with greater precision and control.

Performance tested by the NRC
Tests carried out by the National Research Council of Canada have shown that IsoAcoustics decoupling reduced cabinet vibrations compared to spikes, whilst maintaining a consistent frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. This means that the decoupling reduced unwanted vibrations without distorting the sound.

The next generation of GAIA-TITAN
GAIA-TITAN Neo has been developed from the ground up, starting with the isolator itself. Its internal geometry, the materials used, its profile, thickness and hardness have been optimised to improve performance under the demands of high-mass loudspeakers. The redesigned isolator was then integrated into a completely new housing, which simplifies installation whilst improving alignment, height adjustment, speaker positioning and visual integration into the speaker system.

Each isolator can be readjusted after installation, making it easier to align large speakers on uneven floors.

- Simplified installation
The revised design replaces the original feet or spikes with a clearer and more intuitive installation process.

- Flush-fit appearance
The GAIA-TITAN Neo sits securely on the base of the loudspeaker, without the visible lock nut used on the original GAIA-TITAN.

Designed for easier set-up with large loudspeakers
The Neo design not only improves internal isolation. It also simplifies the entire set-up process, particularly with large high-end speakers, where levelling, alignment and final positioning can be challenging.

Secure grip on any surface
The GAIA-TITAN Neo can be swivelled to maintain full contact with the supporting surface, even on uneven surfaces. This ensures stability whilst retaining the benefits of IsoAcoustics isolation.

Floor glides included
Floor glides make it easier to position the speakers after installation. Once the speaker is in place, the glides can be removed to achieve optimum performance.

Tool-free assembly
The upper O-ring is compressed when the isolator is tightened, creating a secure connection with the loudspeaker whilst still allowing the isolator to be rotated into the correct alignment.

The GAIA-TITAN-NEO models each come with 3 standard thread sizes, which fit most loudspeakers of this size. Alternative sizes are available from IsoAcoustics dealers.
