The BTR 4.2 can be used both as a Bluetooth receiver and as a Bluetooth transmitter. Depending on the type of connection, you can either stream music to the hi-fi system or send it from the stereo system to a Bluetooth headset.

Despite its compact dimensions, the Oehlbach BTR 4.2 Bluetooth transceiver offers a wide range of possible applications. The 2-in-1 adapter allows audio signals to be sent and received wirelessly via Bluetooth. Audio signals, which are either transmitted in analogue format or via the optical digital input, can be sent to compatible headphones or active speakers via the current Bluetooth 4.2 protocol. When the receiver mode is activated, the BTR 4.2 receives the Bluetooth signal from a mobile device or computer and then outputs the signal via the transceiver´s integrated 3.5 mm jack interface. With support for aptX and Qualcomm True Wireless Stereo, as well as an extremely low latency of less than 40 ms, Oehlbach´s BTR 4.2 is capable of delivering an outstanding acoustic performance in any situation.
