The Isotek EVO3 Sequel is a mid-range power cable for hi-fi systems.

STRUCTURE:
The conductors run parallel and are slightly twisted. This established technology has proven to be effective shielding against high-frequency and electromagnetic interference.

A) Conductors: Silver-plated 99.9999% oxygen-free and high-purity copper conductors offer excellent conductivity. They are less prone to becoming brittle or fragile over time (compared to solid core cables). Silver is an excellent conductor and, in combination with high-purity copper, offers impressive electrical properties.

B) Dielectric: A dielectric made of Teflon FEP (fluoroethylene propylene) is chemically inert and has a very low dielectric constant over a wide frequency range. FEP has very high voltage crack resistance and a low coefficient of friction, which makes it an ideal material for dielectrics due to both its heat resistance and good electrical insulation.

C) Insert: A cotton insert gives the cable greater internal stability and reduces microphonic effects. Cotton also has excellent dielectric properties.

D) Sheath: A Mylar sheath separates the inner conductors from the flexible PVC jacket. The combination of paper, cotton and PVC further improves the dielectric properties.

E) Shielding: A grounded OFC shield prevents high-frequency interference and protects against common-mode interference that could affect the live and neutral conductors.

F) Sheath: With an outer sheath made of PVC, the cable is not only particularly flexible, but also mechanically resilient.
