The IsoTek EVO3 Elite is a true high-end power cable with a unique 7-strand geometry, purest copper and hi-tech dielectrics for outstanding transmission quality. Double shielding with actively integrated copper braiding keeps high-frequency and electromagnetic interference at bay. It is the ideal upgrade for source devices such as CD players, music servers, D/A converters or preamplifiers. The Elite is also an excellent choice for power amplifiers, but for very large power amplifiers we recommend the EVO3 Optimum.

CONSTRUCTION:
The conductors run parallel and are slightly twisted. This established technology has proven to be effective shielding against high-frequency and electromagnetic interference.

A) Conductors: Silver-plated 99.9999% OFC conductors offer exceptional purity with improved conductivity. They are less likely to break or deteriorate over time. Silver is an excellent conductor and, when combined with high-purity copper, offers impressive electrical properties.

B) Dielectric: The Teflon FEP dielectric (insulation) is chemically inert and has a very low dielectric constant over a wide frequency range. FEP has very high voltage crack resistance and a low coefficient of friction, making it an exceptional dielectric. FEP is the first choice for safety in both temperature and electrical insulation.

C) Insert: A cotton insert was used to give the cable internal strength and reduce microphony. Cotton also has excellent dielectric properties.

D) Sheath: A Mylar sheath is used to secure the construction and provide a protective shield before applying a flexible PVC jacket. The addition of Mylar and cotton forms a buffer with the PVC to maintain the exceptional dielectric properties.

E) Shielding: A grounded OFC shield ensures maximum RFI suppression, preventing common mode interference that affects the live and neutral conductors.

F) Sheath: PVC is used as the outer sheath to ensure a high degree of flexibility and mechanical strength.
