Chord GroundAray
The Chord GroundARAY benefits from five separate noise reduction systems, all operating in parallel in different RF noise ranges, to convert unwanted RF electrical noise into heat. The advanced technologies provide a very low impedance, high bandwidth path for RF noise, effectively 'pulling' the noise out of the device's signal ground.
Each Chord GroundARAY is carefully hand-built in the Chord Company's Wiltshire factory, including the system components themselves. The GroundARAY consists of a series of absorption devices connected by a state-of-the-art dual connector system with ultra-high bandwidth.
with ultra-high bandwidth. The connectors are manufactured to a very high standard, requiring time-consuming hand assembly by factory technicians.
Each Chord GroundARAY cylinder is filled with a carefully selected material to dampen noise and is finally fixed to reduce the effects of acoustic vibration.
Chord GroundARAYs are most effective when used with multiple units in a facility. The cylinders are simply placed in the existing empty slots and can be used individually or multiple times (e.g. via left and right outputs etc.).
With DACs and streamers, the GroundARAYs can be used on unused digital inputs. Projectors and screens also benefit from the noise suppression effects.
effects.
The Chord GroundAray is available in seven connection variants and is thus suitable for a variety of digital and analogue A/V devices:
- RCA
- XLR (Männlich)
- XLR (Weiblich)
- BNC
- RJ45
- USB
- HDMI
- DIN.
