This high-quality 10x38 mm audio fuse, compatible with the Sound Module III and IV, is available exclusively from AHP.

The fuse has been specially developed to meet the demands of music enthusiasts!
The audio fuses are available with copper or silver inner conductors. The contact caps are made of solid copper and, depending on the version, are additionally gold-plated or silver-plated. This results in the very best contacts, which are reflected in a smooth sound. The ceramic insulator has been resonance-optimised through a special treatment and is characterised by excellent thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance. A pure silver variant is also available.

Important note regarding audiophile precision fuses:
In rare cases, particularly when used in equipment (e.g. amplifiers) with high inrush currents (Naim, Accuphase), audiophile micro-fuses may trip and blow on their very first use.

Why?

Audiophile precision fuses (regardless of the manufacturer) have a very narrow tolerance before they trip (blow) in order to protect your equipment. The manufacturer Padis has demonstrated in tests that standard fuses fitted as standard in equipment can have a tolerance of up to 100 per cent compared to the amperage rating stated on the fuse.

You should therefore consult the manufacturer or distributor of your device before replacing any fuses and enquire about the recommended fuse ratings!
