AHP Cylindrical Audio Fuse V G Ultra ucc 14x51 mm with CE marking for sound modules
This is the new top-of-the-range AHP model of the cylindrical 14x51 mm audio fuse for the 3G, 4G and 5G sound modules. It bears the additional designation ‘Ultra ucc’. This fuse is the ideal complement to the 5G Ultra ucc sound module.
The Ultra ucc fuses utilise an innovative surface coating that further increases the usable contact area. This ensures maximum current flow and reduces eddy currents at the contact points – which can impair sound quality – to a minimum.
UCC stands for Ultra Coating + Conditioning. The whole process is a combination of information processing, a thermal treatment (Cryo), optimised surface smoothing and a nanotechnology sealant.
According to Mr Jungblut, this technology delivers a clearly audible improvement in dynamic range and speed in music reproduction compared to the ‘standard’ cylindrical audio fuse V G 14x51 mm.
As usual, the fuse is available in various versions.
Special features of audio fuses compatible with the IIIG, IVG and VG sound modules:
This audio fuse, compatible with the IIIG, IVG, VG and 5G Ultra UCC sound modules, is available exclusively from AHP.
They have been developed to meet musically oriented requirements!
The gold-plated audio fuses are available with a copper inner conductor. The contact caps are made of solid copper (new) and are additionally gold-plated. This results in the very best contacts, which are reflected in a smooth sound. The ceramic insulator has been resonance-optimised through a special treatment and is characterised by excellent thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance.
Important note regarding audiophile precision fuses:
In rare cases, particularly when used in equipment (e.g. amplifiers) with high inrush currents (Naim, Accuphase), audiophile micro-fuses may trip and blow on their very first use.
Why?
Audiophile precision fuses (regardless of the manufacturer) have a very narrow tolerance before they trip (blow) in order to protect your equipment. The manufacturer Padis has demonstrated through testing that standard fuses fitted as standard in equipment can have a tolerance of up to 100 per cent compared to the amperage rating stated on the fuse.
You should therefore consult the manufacturer or distributor of your device before replacing any fuses and enquire about the recommended fuse ratings!
All AHP precision fuses are 100% tested and in working order. The replacement of fuses is carried out by the customer at their own risk. No claims will be accepted.
