Important note on audiophile micro-fuses:
In rare cases, particularly when used in equipment (e.g. amplifiers) with high inrush currents (Naim, Accuphase), audiophile micro-fuses may trip and blow on their very first use.

Why?

Audiophile micro-fuses (regardless of the manufacturer) have a very narrow tolerance before they trip (blow) in order to protect your equipment. The manufacturer Padis has demonstrated in tests that standard fuses fitted as standard in equipment can have a tolerance of up to 100 per cent compared to the amperage rating stated on the fuse.

You should therefore consult the manufacturer or distributor of your device before replacing any fuses and enquire about the recommended fuse ratings!
