ABC: Look Of Love – The Very Best of ABC (Hybrid-SACD)

ABC: Look Of Love – The Very Best of ABC (Hybrid SACD)

“Look Of Love: The Very Best Of ABC” is a compilation of hits by the English pop band, which was formed in Sheffield, UK, in 1980 and emerged from the former electro band Vice Versa. ABC, often associated with the new wave movement, blended synth-pop with influences from disco and rock. The band enjoyed their breakthrough with their debut album *The Lexicon of Love* (1982), which reached number one in the UK album charts and featured several hit singles.

Apart from lead singer Martin Fry, the only constant member of the band, the classic line-up consisted of guitarist and keyboardist Mark White, saxophonist Stephen Singleton and drummer David Palmer. Between 1981 and 1990, ABC had ten hits in the UK Top 40 and five in the US Top 40. ‘Look Of Love: The Very Best Of ABC’ is essentially a reissue of the greatest hits album ‘Absolutely’, supplemented by two new tracks, ‘Peace And Tranquility’ and ‘Blame’.

Universal Music Hong Kong is now re-releasing the British band’s popular compilation, which was first released on 6 November 2001, in high-resolution hybrid SACD format.

A tip from us: only the first 1,000 copies of this limited edition, manufactured in Japan, feature a sequential serial number and are therefore highly sought-after by collectors. So don’t take too long to place your order!

We recommend using „L’Art du Son“-CD/DVD-Conditioner to further improve the sound quality.
