Should there ever be a question about the most famous of all jazz albums on "Wer wird Millionär", this Miles Davis album from 1959 is a sure candidate. About which other jazz album entire books have been written and which other album is available in so many editions. The band hadn't played through a single piece when Davis called into the studio while the band was playing. Maybe jazz heavyweights like John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Cannonball Adderly, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb didn't have to. Davis, however, remained true to his reputation as an eccentric and called this album a failure.

UHQCD stands for Ultimate High Quality Compact Disc and is a joint development of the Japanese CD replication company Memory-Tech and the Audio Quality CD Company from Hong Kong. Unlike conventional CDs, UHQCDs are not pressed from polycarbonate, but are instead moulded from a photopolymer and cured with UV light. To protect the softer photopolymer from scratches, a further layer of high-purity polycarbonate is applied. The combination results in a significantly reduced reflection of the laser light inside the CD and an unrivalled precise edge transition between pits and lands of the CD. UHQCDs are 100% compatible with standard CD players. Musically, the sound is very similar to that of analog master tapes.
