Absolutely neutral and transparent with superb dynamics, great clarity and speed. - This was the approach taken by George Cardas when he created the first cable of a new generation with the CLEAR, for whose new technology the US patent number 7,674,973 was granted. The technical idea was to synchronize the speed of charge propagation within the cable with that of signal transmission. The cable remains very musical and the excellent three-dimensionality is not bought by the unpleasant detail of the super high frequency range. If you felt the need for more depth and precision in older Cardas cables, this is the right choice. George Cardas relies on three strands of fine single strands with a perfectly even and varnished surface, which are wound in counter-rotating spirals around a non-conductive Kevlar core and remain in perfect position to each other through elaborate double-layer stabilisation.

The principles of the CLEAR technique are also used in a simplified way in CLEAR Reflection, CLEAR Light and CLEAR Sky.

Termination options: The cable is available balanced as XLR with Cardas CG XLR connectors or unbalanced with Cardas SRCA connectors. Cable and connectors are made in USA. The cable is terminated by hand in Bandon, Oregon.
