High current electrolytic capacitors, Screw-In, 4Pin

In the MLytic® HC and MLytic® HC+ High Current Power Cap series, a patented process for internal contacting enables the realization of a very low ESR and lowest residual inductance.

These capacitors, originally developed for use in locomotives and optimized by us for audio applications, are designed for continuous currents of up to several hundred amps and are prepared for mounting on a heat sink.

Due to these features they can deliver highest peak currents if required. The reproduction remains stable and clean even with extreme bass impulses, without any compression effects.

They are exceptionally fast and form the basis for a dynamic, precise low-frequency range and the lively, clear mid/high frequency range.

The advantages over 2-pole electrolytic capacitors described on the previous page make MLytic® HC+ capacitors the 'first choice' whenever transistor amplifiers need to be equipped with an uncompromising power supply.
